Fort Stewart, GA - In a ceremony at Taylor's Drop Zone today, the 3rd Infantry Division formally surrendered to the 24th Infantry Division (Mech) citing numerous probing attacks and infiltration over the past five years. A high level Pentagon source, speaking on anonymity, was quoted as saying: "We've seen these Taro Leafers from time to time, some in uniform with those patches on their right shoulder, but every February they arrive in force of 200 or more, and just make life a living hell for all the Marne Soldiers." The Soldiers of the Victory Division celebrated by painting over all 3rd ID insignia and replacing it with their beloved Taro Leaf, including the large water tower just outside post. Many Marne Soldiers were seen crying and hugging; one MP was overheard sobbing: "Every time these fuckers comes through the Gate they just keep yelling FIRST TO FIGHT!"
