Local Car Salesman and Veteran Saves Baby, Puppy and Old Woman From Burning Building

A local Car Saleman named Phuc Lovan from the Mt. Pleasant area of Iowa is branded a hero as he rushed into a burning building before Fire Fighters and Emergency Responders could arrive. The fire started at around 10:55pm on the corner of Sycamore and Maple Ave. His quick thinking and acts of heroism allowed him to remove a 1 year old sleeping with with its puppy and guide the boy's parents out of the house. Mr. Lovan rushed back in a second time and carried out 72 year old grandma of the family, Gina Morreti, who sustained no injuries. The Gunther family extends their upmost grattitude.
