With this year seeing the mighty Metallica return to the uk a surprise announcement was made online!
' This year to help us play some of our harder songs, Darren will be playing with us all throughout the uk tour' James Hetfield told an associate. 'He's a great guy and close friend of the band, many times in the studio he's helped us write a riff or play parts we find hard! He will then help us play as good as him, what a guy! Thanks bro!'
So far Darren has been unavailable for comment but is widely regarded as one of the best guitarist and all round gentleman not to mention handsome too.
