A black panther was seen and photos taken on the area of Lucas Lane close to the duck river. TWRA agents to investigate. Officers report that the area is teaming with wildlife and could maintain the Panthers natural habitat. There have been reports of sightings in the Bakerville area for years but this is the first time pictures of the animal have been captured.
