When he was not laying people out on the football field in high school, Justin Anderson was crossing people up at the YMCA in hopes of achieving a "Hoops Dream" of his own. Even after high school, Anderson kept on pushing towards his dream. While working towards dental school, he kept practicing at the gym every day. Today his dream has paid off as he has signed with the G-League. His former coach Anthony Babb said "He's my son and it makes me so proud to be a tiger".

He has detractors, or "haters" as he calls them. His former teammate Julius Mack said "I don't see how he made it, he's weak and he cannot beat me one on one for the cheese(money)". It has always been an uphill climb for Justin and his journey has just begun.
