South Hopkins Middle School had a complete overhaul in school colors this past year. It started out with the football complex being repainted an electric blue. This is a step up from the school colors which used to be royal blue and white. The next change would come in the lobby the Wildcats of SHMS paid homage to its big brother school Hopkins County Central. They had a blue lightening bolt painted from the lobby to the concession stand. The last change happened in the gym it has recently been painted strawberry cream red. I interviewed Coach Croft he said "I love this change!"
