Many once thought that Stauffers lasagna was only to be cherished and enjoyed on Christmas Eve night. Well not at Lake George. Not this night. The small group of 24 bucked the Christmas trend and decided to turn it up a notch by cooking this delicacy in July. Crazy right? Many had a dream for this "pasta night" and wanted to see it come to fruition. Many of the naysayers were giving their best "I told you so" speeches when things were not going well early. The oven was slow to cook and the meal seemed doomed. Family members were despondent as 10 surrounded the oven in the three square foot kitchen looking for an answer. Several were screaming and ready to go back to the hot dog, chicken, and burger staple but alas with some shuffling and repositioning things started to heat up. Everyone ended up enjoying the bubbling pasta, even the baby joined in the fun and grunted his delight with this dish. The next time some tries to tell you lasagna is just for Christmas Eve you tell them "remember he pasta night!"
