Johnny Depp passed away from a heart attack July 14, 2017 in his Los Angeles home. He had been in and out of the hospital for several weeks due to severe chest pains according to actress ex-wife, Amber Heard. His daughter, Lily-Rose Depp asked a local television station, "Please keep my family in your prayers, we just suffered a great loss. My dad, Johnny Depp passed away last night. We are asking that everyone please let us mourn in private. It would be greatly appreciated." There will be a private ceremony held in memory of Depp for close friends and family.
