The Compass sold by Jeep has been in the news nationwide due to its ever increasing incidence of catching fire because of a faulty wiring harness manufactured in Jeep's Mexico component plant.
Jeep has recalled the entire Compass line and is warning owners to not park the vehicle in the driveway or garage because of its high probability of catching fire and burning your house down.
Jeep suggests that while owners wait for their recall notice, they park their Compass on the street.
