An Austin man, in pursuit of sweet tone that still has some sting in it has constructed an electric bass entirely out of donuts and wasp nests. When asked what prompted such an endeavor, 30something Andrew Pressman recounts how it came to him in a dream, as relayed through the spirit of Jaco Pastorius. "He slowly morphed into a half-donut half-wasp man. I knew then just what I had to do." When asked what's next, Pressman hinted at designs for case that flies itself to the destination without an airline's help.
