The National Weather Service out of Pittsburgh stated that the heat wave presently covering the East coast will continue to oppress the country until late into October.
Dr. Sun Ray said weather models show intense heat and mostly dry weather making droughts and fires very likely if precautions aren't taken.
Temperatures are forecasted to be in the mid 80s soaring up over 100 in some places. Humidity will continue to oppress as well.
Try to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day or in the shade and stay hydrated. Keep fresh water for pets and check on the elderly.
