The Vols Director of Athletics has announced that due to an unavoidable construction project in Neyland Stadium, all home football games in 2017 will be canceled. Regulations prohibit the games from being played at the opponents stadium so the 7 scheduled home games will be forfeited. The Vols will play their first game of the 2017 season at Georgia Tech on September 4. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
