Maryland Natural Resources Police & officials from NOAA are studying a report of a 7 ft 200 pound bull shark. Denton resident William Knolt was on his private pier fishing on Saturday, July 29th when he saw a dorsal fin break the surface of the water. Speaking with Knolt, he said "I threw some chicken liver I was using as bait into the water and all of a sudden this shark jumped up and aggressively took off with it." While investigation is still ongoing in this case, residents are urged to use caution while in the water.
