A local Tulsa businessman man, Edward Shane, and his 8 year old son, Harrison, are on a mission to capture and trap the massive alligator that had been terrorizing Grand Lake residents this summer. They plan on carefully trapping and releasing the gator back into the Arkansas River so the gator can safely travel back to warmer waters. They don't want to harm the animal and will use special Native American hunting techniques in order to safely capture the gator. The 11-13 foot giant alligator has been spotted on Grand Lake as far north as Wyandotte and as far south as Grove, OK. "I have always admired Steve Irwin for his bravery and now's my chance to be just like him! Crikey!!" gushed Harrison.
