A local fan fave, JUMBO, has announced his retirement from stock cars. After a few laps per season for the last few years he has finally given in and hung up the overalls....
Jumbo became a well known name in Scottish stock car history after many trips up the wall. Formerly known as DD motorsport he won the fans hearts by destroying many a cavalier and astra.
His most recent spell of racing was put to bed by Cowdenbeath driver Paul Barron. After he bashed Jumbo's back doors in on 2 seperate occasions jumbo decided enough was enough. A breif re-appearance after mr Barron received a ban ended in yet another trip to the wall for jumbo but this time it was self inflicted.
Retirement party will be held at jumbo HQ after the firework display at HRP, anybody is welcome to attend to show their support for his decision to call it a day.
In the future jumbo intends to carry on his tradition of selling affordable cars at inflated prices and visitors are always welcome to come and visit him on the big red couch.
