According to Jacquelyn's sister, and the hidden cameras, she was seen with a bloody knife in one hand, and a bird's head on the other. Her sister describes the scene as vile and cruel. Jacquelyn claims that her reasoning behind murdering her parrot is that he was being "extremely loud and annoying for hours straight." She conveys that she started to feel anger traveling throughout her entire body, which caused her to rush to the kitchen and grab a knife. She took the bird and tightened her grip around it with one hand as the other hand took the knife and sliced his head off. Right after her declaration to the Washington County Jail, she was sentenced for life. The image below was taken a week before Mango (the parrot) was slaughtered.
