Mitchell Rossio, 22, was caught with over $100,000 in cash during a routine traffic stop on flints northside. Due to a failed turn signal, officer Wayne Gatsby pulled over a 2014 chrysler 300 for a routine traffic stop, but discovered more than anticipated. The passenger, Mitchell, had an active warrant out of clarkston for assault and battery officer Gatsby discovered this and asked Mitchell to step out of the car. "He complied, i didnt think he would have anything on him let alone $123,000." stated officer gatsby. Within three hours Genesee county police alongside of Flint police linked him to sereies of bank robberies in the area between October 15th thru October 25th. He is currently being held in Genesee county jail on a bail of $50,000 cash surety.
