Jamey Warriston(16) Varsity QB for the FHS Football team. Was shot dead after a altercation during a game. Willy Schiffler(17)(who also attends FHS) and Jamey became physical on the field after a foul hadn't been called on Jamey after kicking Willy for bragging about injuring a teammate. After the game as Jamey was exiting the school from the locker-rooms at 10 :46pm. A school camera caught Willy confronting Jamey. Then pulling out a handgun and aiming it at Jamey. As Jamey attempted to flee Willy fired 3 times at Jamey ''2 hitting''. Jamey staggered then collapsed. Jamey could be seen lying on his back holding his lower abdomen gasping for air. Willy walked over to Jamey, stood over him and fired 14 times. Willy then left the scene on foot unaware or the school camera. Jamey was found lying in a pool of blood by a fellow teammate who heard the gunshots. They used there phone to call emergency services. Police arrived on the scene at approximately 11:08pm. Det.R.Gomez stated that Jamey had multiple gunshot wounds to the head, torso and lower abdomen "16 times in total''. Investigators watched the tape and by 4:00am Oct.28 Willy Schiffler was in custody. After the shooting Willy ran to his house. Officals say they found a Compact 1911 handgun with a extended magazine tucked under his mattress, also ammunition. Willy was charged with 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Manslaughter, Possession of a deadly firearm. And two other charges that are not known yet. Further information will be available soon.
