A Norwegian laboratory has announced that they have successfully implanted an early-stage embryo containing Harambe's DNA into a surrogate gorilla mother. The DNA was taken from skin cells salvaged from Harambe's body. The laboratory declined to explain how it got the skin cells but has asserted that "the acquisition of Harambe's genetic material was done completely legally." The Cincinnati Zoo, however, stated that it did not authorize this. According to the zoo, a woman wearing a Donald Trump mask had broken into a restricted area and took skin cell samples from Harambe. The zoo is currently threatening litigation against the Norwegian laboratory.
