Blackburn rovers midfielder Danny Guthrie has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury suffered after a challenge with Hope Akpan in training. Rovers boss Owen Coyle said this afternoon "it is a big blow to the team but we have other players to fill that role and we wish Danny a speedy recovery. Blackburn sit 22nd in the EFL championship and look ahead to the next game which is Wolverhampton Wanderes at Ewood park on Saturday.
