Promising genetic engineer, Adam D'Angelo, sparked a great controversy this past Wednesday after releasing a new set of genetically modified potatoes combined with DNA taken from Irish infants.

D'Angelo originally debuted his creation at a sponsored charity dinner for abandoned English orphans, where he demonstrated that his set of GMO food only costed tuppence a bag. Later when going into a detailed lecture about the creation of the food, D'Angelo explained that he extracted DNA through the harvested skin cells of infants he studied on one of his scientific trips to Ireland. He said he got the idea after recalling an old story he read back in his favorite English teacher's classroom.

"I was looking for a swift solution to the world's hunger problem," D'Angelo told reporters.

After hearing about the unethical use of human DNA, SECOUS (Scientific Ethics Committee of the United States) demanded an immediate investigation into D'Angelo's scientific career, and a lock down on any other plants he was growing.

"They took away my Paw Paws," D'Angelo commented, subsequently asking the reporters to excuse him for a moment of grieving.

After the incident, KNN did a special interview with D'Angelo's previous advisors, including his high school environmental science teacher, Dan Chamberlin, who provided a defense for his former student:

"I've never met a finer young man in all my life. Adam worked day and night trying to figure out ways to better the environment, and he has always helped others in need." Chamberlin told reporters.

Though D'Angelo's biology teacher, Dr. Timothy Holovacs, had a few negative comments to say of his former pupil, "I used to think he was a good kid, until he took some fish, tried to raise them, and then killed them all."

Currently D'Angelo is still under investigation. KNN will release an update once more information comes out about this shocking case.
