A 34-year-old woman is wanted for the shooting death of another woman in the city, Essex County authorities said Friday. Angie Thomas is charged with murder and weapons-related offenses in the Oct. 23 killing of 29-year-old Lanesse Samson, of Newark, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Caroline McCleod and city Public Safety Director Eric Dempsey said in a statement.
