A county Tipperary firm Ryan Tarmacadam has won the contract for laying the tarmacadam on the New Ross to Enniscorthy by pass and associated link roads
Ryan Tarmacadam bet off all opposition on the 58 km stretch saying "Them other big boys were taking the piss with there 80000 ton of tar myself an pa said in or around 16 ton will be plenty, we don't need as much cause we don't use them big machines that gobble up tar we use old fashioned methods like wheelbarrows and rakes and a few burning pallets"
Since been awarded the Job Ryan Tarmacadam has purchased 2 new wheelbarrow s and put an additional bale of straw in the back of the van for extra workers.
