At approximately 6:30pm on October 29th, Cody Gross of New Philadelphia was spotted sexually assaulting a deer carcass on State Route 21 by passers-by who proceeded to call local authorities. When law enforcement arrived Mr. Gross had apparently finished his deed, and was smoking a cigarette while cuddling the dead button buck. When asked about the incident all Mr.Gross had to say was, "Hey, that's between me and the deer, and the deer ain't talkin.". He is currently being held in the New Philadelphia police station for due processing and psychiatric evaluation.
