Kent police arrested and charged a 15 year-old male juvenile with possession of a firearm. Police say on September 13th, Kent officers responded to Canterbury Rd and Bybrook Rd for reports of school age kids riding bikes during school hours.
Police approached a 15 year old and 18 year old. Further Investigation revealed that the 15 year old provided a fake name to officers, and a fully loaded gun was found in his waistband. Authorities say the 15 year old was also in possession of 3 fully loaded magazines.
The juvenile suspect had warrants out in both Kent and Sussex County Family Courts according to Ashford PD. He is now being held at The Stevenson House Detention Center on $4,500 secured bond.
Along with Possession of a Firearm by Prohibited Juvenile, the 15 year old is facing charges including Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon (Firearm), receiving a Stolen Firearm, and 2 counts of Criminal Impersonation.
