It wasn't the finest showing for the "King of Rock and Roll". And it certainly wasn't what police were expecting on a call for a drunken disturbance just after midnight.
Police were called out to the local Williamsburg, KY Wal-Mart were they identified, Williamsburg man, Danny R. Bullis, 49. When officer's located Bullis they noticed his getup; a full Elvis costume completed with a black wig and sunglasses. Bullis was singing "Burning Love" to a banana as a microphone slurred and loudly. When approached officer's noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from Bullis. Officer's tried to speak with Bullis but, he ignored them and kept singing loudly. Bullis resisted arrest and excessive force, mace, and taser's had to be utilized. Bullis was arrested and taking into custody for public intoxication, resisting arrest, and violation of the noise ordinance. A mental evaluation will be conducted.
