The 15 year old boy , locally named as Tommy McGregor is now in hospital suffering from life threatening conditions. He was struck round the head multiple times with a 3ft sports bat and left unconscious with head injurys on Great North Road. Paramedics and air ambulance quickly rushed to the scene and he was rushed straight to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
