The monks at buckfast abbey have released a press statement stating that all bottles will now be manufactured in plastic bottles. They will no longer be available in glass after an incident were the queen was hit by a bottle of buckfast and badly injured. The bottle was thrown by a thug in a crowd with a Scotland top on. Buckingham palace have released a statement saying that the Scottish public should be greatful that buckfast is not banned and are lucky to be able to get it in plastic bottles.
