Michael Storey,73,of Woodhouse,Sheffield,was arrested this morning and charged with decapitating 26 chickens.Armed police,equipped with silver bullets attended.When asked why he had commited the crime,he told police"it was a full moon,and there was nothing i could do about it". Magistate Mr I.Brow,said "that is a pathetic excuse",and he was sectioned and remanded in custody to the RSPCA pound on Spring Street Sheffield,as they fear similar attacks this evening and are keeping a close eye on his cubs in Woodhouse.
