William Renwick, 15, of Debog Farm, outside Glespin in Scotland has been awarded the accolade by the Gay Society of Scotland for "embracing his sexuality and pioneering gay rights in Lanark Grammar School". Renwick who admitted he is attracted to males in late 2015 is also on the shortlist for "Queer of the Year" award. His boyfriend Robbie Baird remarked "I am very proud of my hunk William, love him to bits".
