Police say Nashville woman, 40 year old Angi Warren, is now in custody after nearly beating a man to death.
Police were called to the quiet Priest Lake neighborhood around 10 pm on Sunday, after neighbors reported a woman beating a man with a baseball bat, an old house shoe, and a rubber rat Halloween decoration. Police arrived to find Ms Warren standing over the man daring him to move an inch. According to paramedics on the scene, the man was unconscious and barely breathing and couldn't have gotten up if he wanted to.
Ms Warren was taken into custody and now faces aggravated assault and attempted murder charges. The man has not been identified and will not speak to anyone at this time regarding the incident.
When questioned by news crews, Ms Warren simply stated, "He should have never looked at my daughter that way."
