Halloween officially branded a "load of old pish" by BBC George Alagiah
This is a satirical website. Don't take it Seriously. It's a joke.

Suave BBC newsreader George Ignatius Alagiah (67) has described the popular horror-themed Satanic Holiday as a "load of old pish" in an uncharacteristic outburst yesterday.
He said he was referring to the "over-commercialisation of much-loved ancient Pagan/Celtic rituals in a modern Globalised Society" and how things are "subverted by turning them into yet another money-making exercise."
Shouting from the balcony of his luxury London apartment, Mr Alagiah added that before long "they" will have invented "Grandparent Days", "Greetings Cards for giving after successfully passing a driving test" or even an "Atomic Jet-Pack complete with spacious area on the back to advertise the latest mobile phone like the iPhone 23XXL or the Samsung Flame-retardant Inflamigron 2000 or something like that..."
Since yesterday, Mr Alagiah has been unavailable for comment.
