American country music duo, 2Steel Girls composed of Allison Steel, 38 and her daughter, Krystal say that Allison was arrested only for resisting arrest.
Tennessee State Trooper, Jessie Holman stated that is not the case. "Steel crossed double yellow lines while speeding at rates of 90 - 100 mph. After a short chase, running 2 pedestrians off the sidewalk, Steel pulled to the side of the road. I approached her car as she was rolling down her window informing me that she had a concealed weapon." When asked for her ID, Officer Holman said Steel quickly rolled her window back up and sped off at a dangerous rate of speed. Officer Holman chose not pursue Steel, instead proceeded to Steel's residence where she was found locked in her bedroom drinking Jack Daniels and singing, "Let's Hear It For the Boys".
Steel is awaiting trial.
