The professional footballer Will Griggs, who plays as a striker for Championship club Wigan Athletic, was recently involved in a bizarre incident resulting in his house catching fire. The Northern Ireland international informed the police late Monday evening that his home in Solihull had become engulfed in flames due to a cooking incident, and has sustained minor burns to his face and arms.
