Newark wildcats predicted to win state in 2019 led by Jade batross of the Newark wildcats . Batross (sophomore) looked very sharp and very athletic for being the only starter on offense as a sophomore , batross had 9 catches for 68 yards this season . Following the new Albany game batross broke his thumb so he had to wear a cast which slowed him down a little bit but was still the starter . Next year the wildcats are expecting big things from him on both offense and defense .
