Wicklow man loses fringe in attack from pet parrot

The small town of Dunlaven Co.Wickow are in deep shock after a local man was savagely attacked in his home by his Parrot.
Wicklow native Edward Harte is at home recovering after what locals said was "a very bad " mauling from his once beloved pet Archie , " it's a miracle he is still with us , I've never seen a man to lose so much of his fringe " said a source close to the victim , The parrot has been taken to Dunlaven station while the fringe remains at the scene as Garda await a full examination from state Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy , Mr Harte was unavailable to answer questions at this time as he was partaking in the Dunlaven Shite Ball rolling contest which runs up till Xmas , if you would like to donate a hat or a wig or even some of your own hair to Mr Harte you can get him at www.wheresmyfringe.ie
