Brian Lewis Frey, 20, of Urbandale led police on a high speed chase through Des Moines last night. Brian was traveling Westbound on University Ave. when an officer began the pursuit. Brian was moving at speeds upwards of 100mph. The chase ended after roughly 30 minutes when Brian ran out of gasoline. Brian ditched the car and fled on foot but was apprehended shortly thanks to helicopter support. Brian was taken to the Polk country jail and being held on a $10,000 bond.
