Mrs O'Connor had been suffering from foot pain for a few months and despite friends and family urging her to go to her doctor she refused to seek help
Her husband Mr Karl O'Connor said his wife was in shock at the time and could only utter the word Yep repeatedly
Local publican Jerry Harkin treated the shock with countless bottles of Bacardi
Mrs O'Connor said later her right leg was in mourning for the left but things will balance out eventually
