A man found hanging around a primary school in Mayo has been identified as 26 year old Kevin Flynn from Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. Investigators say he was seen in the vicinity of the school with a binoculars while dressed only in his boxer shorts and a santa hat. Suspicious staff at the school raised the alarm with the Gardai who arrived immediately and gave chase. He managed to escape through nearby fields only to be stopped by a local man out walking his dog who held him until the Gardai arrived. He was subsequently arrested and held without bail at Castlebar Garda Station where a file is being prepared for the DPP. More to follow.
