What is said to be the longest car chase in Rockingham county ended horribly on riverside drive. A state trooper began chasing the suspect in NC 14 going toward Virginia. The suspect was driving a orange cavalier and was refuting to pullover. The cavalier turned left on aiken road and made another left in riverside drive where he lost control of the car and ran into a neighboring car and then crashed into the porch our his house. Suspect was arrested and charged with alluding police and wreckless driving. Story is still developing. Will have more information as it develops
