Insurance Insider understands that Martin Power, Head of Personal Accident within the Life Accident & Health division of Beazley, has suffered a suspected heart attack after discovering his comments in a meeting with Fitch have resulted in Beazley Group's financial rating being reduced to junk status. It is not entirely clear what was said but it is rumoured that Power's insinuation that "any combined ratio less than a 120 is a good result" did not sit well with Fitch!
