US presidential candidate Donald Trump is set to change his name. The controversial Republican candidate is reportedly tired of having his surname compared to rectally passed gas. To end the mirth of social media commentators and the Twitterati, he will be legally changing his name to Donald Fart.
The move comes amid fears that there is a smell of corruption about his campaign. An unnamed spokesperson of Donald Fart was overheard stating that they have been trying to release this slowly in the hope that they are in control of what is released. Mr Fart himself was not available for comment on whether this name change will affect his ability to follow through on campaign promises.
One such promise is the proposed wall separating the USA and Mexico, often dubbed "Trump's Wall". There are sniffs of rumours suggesting that this may be renamed "The Fart Line", although this could not be confirmed
Hilary Clinton was asked to provide comment. Though she declined, an aide was quoted as saying "...it is clear that with Trump/Fart policy decisions, whoever smelt it - dealt it."
