19-year-old NUIG student Eoghan Murphy has fallen victim to an attack by the renowned "Hamburgler". The incident occurred on the night of September 30th, outside the well established restaurant of delicious cuisine, McDonald's.
After a night of heavy drinking and unstoppable smoking, Murphy was in a state of high-alert and full intellectual capacity. With thoughts of the Arctic Monkeys and pretending to play the bass guitar, Murphy entered the establishment with only one goal - to devour a delicious hamburger.
After parting ways with his well-earned cash of €1, the youth and aspiring rock-n-roll star made an attempt to horse in to his burger, only to be attacked by the Hamburgler, who stole his burger and never returned.
"I dunno what happened like," said housemate and possible bum buddy Richard 'one eye' McWalter, "Murphy got so angry".
Sources have claimed that an aggressive Murphy took to the streets of Galway in a state of devastation after the incident, shouting "I'LL GET YOU, HAMBURGLER", to which a faint response of "no you won't", was heard echoing across the city.

Gardaí are still investigating this vicious and pre-meditated attack, with prime suspect, Conal 'Sui' McNelis under 24-hour surveillance.
