Users of Social Media are rallying together today to create a united front against Parliament and the High Court, after the High Court yesterday ruled that should Theresa May actually invoke Article 50 without the backing of Parliament that it would be illegal.

Multiple posts have started to crop up onto social media linking to news articles on the High Court's ruling yesterday, and users are coming out in their droves to voice their disgust.

One user from a popular Wigan based Facebook group, who asked to remain anonymous, was interviewed by us. "I read the title of the news article and was disgusted, so much so that I couldn't stomach to read the article. I just knew deep down that the case would have been brought forward by some toffee nosed snob from London who wanted to remain. I reckon they even tapped the Judge up as I hear on the grape vine that he was a remainer as well. It fucks me off. We voted leave, we voted for independence. We voted for the UK to be british again and control it's own laws - and they go and do this shit. I've had enough. Me and my mate Tony are on about driving down to London with a few Pies and giving em what for!"

But this level of discontent isn't localised to a small town in the North West of the country. Oh no. Our reporters have been spending a lot of time on social media lately, procrastinating and generally messing about, but they are now surfing through groups from all over the UK with the same concerns.

Just today people on Facebook are sharing posts about how the Leave Voters are to unite and enforce article 50 themselves, even if this results in violence.

One remain voter, known only as T, has been trying to explain to the upset leave voters that this is exactly what they voted for. "They wanted the country to manage it's own rules and laws, to enforce the laws we already have. This law is over 100 years old. The country is doing exactly what they wanted it to do. Why can't they see this?"

But all is not lost. It may be difficult to see, but not every leave voter is a knuckle dragging moron incapable of reading an article on the internet and determining fact from fiction. Some leave voters are in agreement with the ruling of the High Court. G-Man approached us whilst walking through a Manchester suburb and had this to say, "This is a good day. We wanted the UK to enforce it's own laws and not be held to ransom by anyone else. And that's what the country is doing. It was a massive shock when Moonface Cameron stepped down, but he wasn't stupid. He knew this was going to happen, and it's a good job too. Who want's Thatcher 2 to have the only say in these matters. I'll be honest, I voted leave. I voted leave for this reason and I trust that our PMs in Parliament will ensure that the best deal is struck for our departure. I'm sure we will leave, but lets be honest lads, we need to give the PMs chance to slap some overtime in and a few spurious expenses claims at the very least!"

But while some of the leave voters may be seeing sense, there is a very high percentage of leave voters disgusted at the result. Could November 5th see the fall of Parliament after an invasion of Leave Voters overtake the building? Could this be a large number of keyboard warriors on the rampage?

One thing we do know for sure, this is making spending time on social media a viable option for our reporters who are now billing the company for their time 'researching' while at home.
