After months of speculation from Yamaha in their 40th year , they are to release the iconic RD500LC in December 2016 . It is understood that they are only going to be sold in Denmark and Sweden . Yahama have confirmed they will only be making 500 of these 2 stoke machines . The price is not yet known but Yamaha have said they are a true copy of the original and will only be available in White and Red . These bikes are not going to be road legal but it will be just great to see on the track again or in your personal collection .
