2016 has brought much doom and gloom hasn't it? With gas prices fluctuating proving an instable economy, one of the most critical elections in the history of the country, and clowns terrorizing the inner cities of America, one would ask themselves-"is it ever going to get better?" Just when we thought this world had reached its darkest day, one Pleasanton Texas resident has a different plan in mind.

Like us all, 43 year old Jacob Garza began to ask himself the question "will things get better?" as he and his wife stopped in to have a taco at a local restaurant frequented by residence of Atascosa County. It was during their meal that Jacob looked up from his taco as his wife began to laugh uncontrollably! "What is it?" Garza asked. She answered "you have cilantro in your teeth". The couple began to laugh as the comical "funnies" began to quickly spread through out the whole restaurant. Garza noticed a feeling he hadn't felt in quite some time, pure joy.

"The people were laughing because of the cilantro, but I was happy because they were happy" said Garza during his Monday morning interview with Chris Maurro.

Garza now spends his weekends harvesting natural grown cilantro from different parks in the San Antonio area as he rides his bike with his wife delivering cilantro to families in need in his neighborhood.

Things are looking up for the Garza's and their community. Suddenly all the doom and gloom of today is faded away and what remains is the distinct taste of natures best vegetable and medicine- Cilatro and laughter.
