The board of education has come to the conclusion that the abundance of strike days are setbacks that have to be overcome.
The ASTI have agreed that if their requirements are met, then all the missed school days will be made up over Saturday's for the duration of the year. This is mainly to assist students who are sitting the Leaving and Junior Certicate, and will not be compulsory.
