The increase in ingrown toenails has increase rapidly in the past few months. Docturs in the CUH have come to the conclusion that this is now a virus. It is believed that it has been caused by a young girl living in fountains town cork that goes by the name of 'mags'. This is a serious issue and doctors advise people who think they have symptoms of an ingrown toenail to see your GP or a doctor immediately.
