Local high school student Donald Thomas Brothers refuses to donate blood the the needy and ill because he believes sterile needles used in the donation process are "AIDS infested". The needles are in fact sterile and have a .0001 percent chance of being infested with HIV. Donald Thomas Brothers is therefore a selfish person who is uncaring for those cancer patients, domestic violence victims, those with blood disorders, infectious diseases, or accident victims.
