On a cold Sunday afternoon in Wigan, at around 3 o'clock in the 54th minute of a Wigan St Patrick's versus Huddersfield St Joseph's in the winter rugby league competition match, Wigan's skilful number 7; Charlotte Foley was sent to the sideline receiving a red card due to some unusual behaviour occurring from the normally hooker however is trying something new and playing scrum half in this competition.
The No.7 ran into a brawl that was calming and started throwing aggressive punches left, right and centre!
This caused the brawl to split into two separate fight. It was horrific! Speechless many were left realising she was gone.
The consequences are threatening to the team as rumour has it that the fine is going to be sky high! As well as suffering a dent into the struggling budget the no.7 will also have to face a possible lengthy ban sat on the sideline.
We managed to Speak to Foley after the match and her views are she is sorry for what she did she just saw red and wanted to protect her younger players she also as we walked off yelled and started a petition of Pray4Foley to try and at least attempt to reduce the ban, we will hear the verdict in late November.
